1 Use JAHA corporate supporting membership as a transparent entry point
JAHA officially accepts companies and organisations that support its purpose. Published fees are JPY35,000 on entry and JPY60,000 per annual unit. Benefits include a monthly newsletter, member pricing for displays and advertising, and permitted leaflet inserts. Membership does not establish a hospital partnership or endorsement.
2 Verify JSAVA conditions before applying
The JSAVA application includes a company-name field, and its rules require group supporting applicants to submit an application, corporate registry copy and articles of incorporation. Current fees, benefits and eligibility for a non-veterinary company are not sufficiently clear online and must be confirmed.
3 Meet decision-makers at business-facing events
The JBVP/WJVF Corporate Forum is officially listed for 11 December 2026, 18:30–21:00 at Hotel New Otani Tokyo. Fees, registration and non-member business eligibility are not yet published. JAHA's annual meeting includes hospital-management and exhibitor elements and is more suitable for first contact than veterinarian-only wet labs.
Design a low-risk pilot
Start with standardized case summaries, DICOM, pathology and medication history; translation that preserves uncertainty; one to three cases in a single specialty for second-opinion review; and written post-return follow-up responsibilities. Providers decide acceptance, diagnosis and treatment.
Higher-value cross-border areas
Prioritize canine mitral-valve repair, difficult oncology, multidisciplinary university-hospital review and complex neurology. Routine vaccination, neutering, common dermatology and routine dentistry rarely justify travel. Clinical studies must not be marketed as established care.
Next minimum actions
Confirm the application process and mid-year fees with JAHA; current corporate supporter fees and review with JSAVA; and non-veterinarian eligibility, overseas-hospital accompaniment and networking rules with JBVP. Do not register, pay or claim partnership before official answers.
