Before travel

1. Compile echocardiography, diagnosis and medication records
2. Request pre-review as an overseas case
3. Complete additional tests and candidacy review
4. Coordinate animal import, transport and stay
5. Share post-operative plans with the home veterinarian

Korea has a local MVR provider, KASMINE, so travel is not automatically necessary. Complex cases or second-opinion needs may justify review in Japan. JASMINE states that patients with specified tick-borne disease histories are not accepted.
