Eligibility
Cats diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy whose condition is stable. The veterinary team determines eligibility after reviewing history, current treatment and examinations.
Rationale
Current care focuses on cardiac burden and complications. Trientine affects copper balance, but its efficacy and safety in feline HCM remain unknown.
Costs
The study drug and study-specific additional tests are not charged; ordinary clinical care remains the owner's responsibility.
